Pumpkin fudge is a change from the often mundane regular chocolate fudge. Its color, consistency, and flavor is welcomed change from the over indulged staple. This blend of pumpkin, nuts and vanilla give the fudge a blast of flavor. It is not simply fudge that tastes like pumpkin. Not to mention it will be an attraction at any party or hosting event. The yellowish orange hue will attract all and will be a treat to remember. Give it a try and share!


2 cups of sugar.
1 cup of chopped nuts.
½ cup of pumpkin mash.
½ cup of evaporated milk.
¼ cup of butter.
½ teaspoon of vanilla.
¼ teaspoon of cornstarch.
¼ teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice.

Preparation Instructions:

Cook the sugar, pumpkin mash, cornstarch, evaporated milk and pumpkin pie spice until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water, or until reaches 236°F (114°C).

Add the butter, vanilla, and chopped nuts.

Beat until the mixture is creamy.

Pour into a buttered plate and allow to cool.

Cut into small chunks.
